Whole-house slimline aluminium

From £24,900

Typically £24,900 to £48,200, supplied and fitted including VAT

What is included

  • One curved bay of about 3000 x 1400mm
  • Slimline aluminium in anthracite grey
  • Double glazed
  • Scaffold, curved bay work, making good

Window price: £1,350 to £2,550 per window. Curved bay £7,050 to £12,750. The curved bay is the least predictable item. A flat-faced bay costs noticeably less.

What moves the price

Material is the first thing. uPVC flush casements cost least, slimline aluminium sits in the middle for most sizes, and timber costs more to make and to finish. Heritage glazing with slim units and true glazing bars adds to the cost of a sash.

Access comes next. A ground-floor window needs no scaffold. A first-floor sash on a Regency facade can need a full scaffold, which is why small upstairs jobs cost proportionally more.

Then there is the state of the opening. Rotten sills and damaged brick arches need putting right before new frames go in. The survey shows this before you commit to anything.
